The first time I saw these sneakers at the head office from Public PR in Amsterdam a while ago, I thought men, these must be made for me. The silver, the gold, the platform.. made me think of the early 90’s when I wanted to be a Spice Girl. The Spice Girl style happens to make a huge come back by the way. Every one is wearing vintage again, the croptops, the coluttes and ofcourse the bralette’s and sports tops. But no Spice Girl fit is complete without these platforms. When I got them in at first I thought they were really high. Not what I expected I thought they were a bit lower in my imagination. But when I tried them on, they were super comfortable, not that high, and they walk amazing. I think it also depends on how you style them. These would be amazing with denim dungaree’s and a white turtle neck underneath. To keep it a bit oldskool. But instead of the oldskool I went for the modern look. I styled these platforms with a black high waist culotte, my Calvin’s top a black beanie, and my nike socks to give it that extra sporty feeling.
